MR-30 Professional MiniDisc Recorder
The Otari MR-30 is the ideal MiniDisc Recorder for
the rigors of the professional studio environment. Professional Inputs an Outputs and
versatile machine control capabilities tailors the MR-30 toward audio post production,
live sound recording, broadcast operations and on-line finishing applications.
As a random access device, the MR-30 can cue a radio spot virtually
instantaneously and edit recordings with precision. The easy-to-use interface provides
quick access to all of the MR-30's features without the need to scroll through hidden
menus.
Recording with the MR-30 is easy and can be
achieved manually or automatically using the recording start function. This feature senses
the audio input level and initiates record once a preprogrammed threshold has been
reached. Track numbers can be automatically incremented by
sensing the no-signal sections between programs. An optional sample rate converter allows
recording input sample rates from 32 to 48 kHz.
Program playback can specify the playback
order of up to 25 tracks. Either single or continuous mode can be selected, and
remembered, even if the main power to the unit is lost. Instantaneous playback stores up
to 20 tracks for immediate playback (within 100 ms). The signal level for detecting the
precise audio start point can be adjusted and changed anytime.
