TOKYO - AIWA CO., LTD. has introduced the compact CSD-MD50 MD-CD radio cassette recorder - approx. 23cm-thin compact unit, which makes it easier than ever to make high-quality recordings from CDs to MD. The CSD-MD50 offers a host of synchronized recording functions - it’s simple to record one favorite track, all tracks, or even rearrange them in any order you like. And with the "single hit recording" function, when you hear a song you like, just touch the synchro recording button  - the CSD-MD50 automatically reverses to the start of that track and begins recording it onto an MD. What’s more it also features a multi jog dial for easy inputting of song and disc titles, QSURROUND for natural stereophonic surround effects.

Despite its compact size, the CSD-MD50 incorporates a full-function MD recorder, CD player, cassette deck and AM/FM radio. CSD-MD50 has it all - advanced features, easy operation, top sound quality, and excellent value for the money.

* Full-function MD deck simplifies recording
   The CSD-MD50 offers all the advanced functions users expect in an MD deck. CD-MD
   synchronized recording (one track, all tracks, “single hit,” and programmed recording);
   full editing functions (divide, combine, move, erase, title); the extended recording mode allows
   continuous monaural recording of up to 160 minutes on a 80-minute disc; double-speed
   playback that allows users to quickly review recordings and a convenient track marking function
   (auto/time).

*Multi jog dial for easy inputting of MD titles
   The CSD-MD50’s control panel features a multi jog dial that makes it simple to input MD titles
   using lowercase letters, kana characters, numbers and symbols ? up to 50 characters per title.
   The multi jog dial also makes it easy to search for MD or CD titles, and set the timer.

*MD, CD, cassette, and tuner all fit into a unit approximately 23cm thick and 40cm wide.
