The MD-MT899 minidisc recorder features a direct USB connection for copying music and up to 16x normal speed (LP4 mode, x8 for LP2)
 Can convert CD/MP3/WMA/WAVE to Atrac3 for transfer to MD
Can copy music from MD>PC as long as the music was transferred from the PC in the first place.
